The UK has a number of certified Aastra Enterprise suppliers. It is a commonly held view that there is not enough feedback on these suppliers. To help members better understand their true options, let's start off with who's  who and what they can do.

The Aastra Enterprise Partner Program is made up of three levels: Authorized Partners, Advanced Partners and Premium Partners. Each level is defined by the partner’s degreel of commitment and participation.

Aastra Enterprise in the UK have also created a Certified Reseller program that enables organisations to provide Aastra solutions supported through a distribution channel. The certification standard is banded Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. For definitions of what they mean click here  (64K).

It is important to know that regardless of the level, the Partner you work with is tested, proven and officially certified by Aastra Enterprise. The choice of Partner is dependant entirely on the scope and requirements of your business.
Authorised Partner
Authorized Partner is the entry level to the Aastra Enterprise Partner Program.  Significant qualities are:
  • Business-specific solutions – provision of bundled, customized services and solutions from one reliable source ensures you always have excellence, integrity and timeliness.
  • Guaranteed quality – security in working with one of the best suppliers in the market who have surpassed stringent mandatory requirements set by Aastra Enterprise.
  • Superior competence – knowing that you are working with tested and proven competence that is continuously updated and verified by the experts in the field.
Advanced Partner
Advanced Partner is the medium level of Partner certification, providing additional qualities such as:
  • Business-specific solutions – provision of bundled, customized services and solutions from one reliable source ensures you always have excellence, integrity and timeliness. This, combined with access to superior resources, means you can rely on professional advice and consultation on optimizing the business processes within your company.
  • Superior competence – knowing that you are working with tested and proven competence that is continuously updated and verified by the experts in the field. An Advanced Partner has a higher level of specialized support - you have access to top competence and knowledge to manage complex and critical projects.
  • Expert guidance – you have ready access to a portfolio of services and support for all stages of your business cycle, including planning, building expertise, creating demand and providing added value to your customers.
Premium Partner
Premium Partner is the highest level of Partner certification, reserved for a partner with ultimate resources and support:
  • Privileged support - you have the support and dedicated service of a well-established force in the market. This means that you have access to top quality resources from a well-established company that is present in several cities and regions in the country that you are operating in.
  • Special market status – a Premium Partner is one who enjoys a long and close working relationship with Aastra Enterprise. This special status provides access to outstanding support and resources that you can certainly take advantage of and use to your benefit.
  • Broad competence level – a Premium Partner is a large and well-established company with a broad base of professional and highly-trained personnel. This means that you will be able to work with a large number of highly-certified staff well-experienced in the issues at hand.
  • Business focus - you can rely on the knowledge of your Premium Partner in all aspects of system integration and managed services. In working closely together you will be able to achieve the most cost-effective, time-to-profit and technologically-precise systems for the efficient running of your company.

Partner observations
Aastra have been working on a new channel partner model. This is focused on the partner and not the end customer. Hopefully it might bring more partners to the table and increase choice for end users. When we receive information we will update this page.
Nimans have now re-emerged as the distributor for Aastra having successfully mounted a takeover of Rocom. This will not affect the transactional or existing commercial relations anyone has with either party.
Customer training is normally offered via your partners. If you are having any difficulties contact and we may be able to  help.  Aastra's training is focused on partner competence and certification.
