The local UK has a very limited number of certified Aastra Enterprise suppliers that can provide support to existing customers of MD110/MX-One. It is a commonly held view that there is not enough feedback on these suppliers, and we agree!
The main certified partners are indicated however you may also come across the managed services providers such as BT, C&W, Fujitsu, Ericsson etc... All these organisations will have subcontract the actual work to one of these partners.
With the exception of Damovo the other partners have very lightwieght information on their web sites regarding Aastra support capabilities. This is disappointing but what we can do is offer you independent advise if you require it.
Our simple tips and advice are highlighted below. Before you look at your partner choice make sure you are aware of the potential scope of requirement you may need from them.
Is this a service relationship and if so are you interest is simply maintaining?
Do you need more support and partnering with more advanced solution deployments moving more into integration / unification of your communications into a multimedia deployment?

Questions to ask the supplier in case of any concerns:
Ask us if you have any doubts.
Partner observations
Aastra have been working on a new channel partner model. This is focused on the partner and not the end customer. Hopefully it might bring more partners to the table and increase choice for end users. When we receive information we will update this page.
Nimans have now re-emerged as the distributor for Aastra having successfully mounted a takeover of Rocom. This will not affect the transactional or existing commercial relations anyone has with either party.
Customer training is normally offered via your partners. If you are having any difficulties addressing the training needs you may have we may be able to help. Currently Aastra's actual training capability is focused on partner competence and certification and not end user.
